I bought this hoping it was the latest and greatest. Bad luck. Dell Precision running the latest version of Windows 10. My home computer. Plugged in the device and Windows didn't seem to recognize it. I put the installation disc in and Windows wouldn't let me run Setup.exe. Told me to contact my administrator. Instead of going down the rabbit hole, I got the driver and installer file from the Linksys website. The setup software couldn't detect this thing either. Went to Windows Device Manager and it was there. The drive was correct, but the adapter just didn't work. I tried all USB ports. Will I waste time contacting technical support? NO. It shouldn't be that hard to get something so simple to work. This is a Linksys 2D product that I bought last month but it didn't work. Probably a software problem that I'm too tired and too old for. I started with DOS 6 in the early 90's and so far nothing has worked without a fight. Good luck when you buy.
