I was so excited to get it because it's really amazing! However, there are some problems. First it dims. Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, with mild detergent. Then dried over low heat. It faded on the first wash. Notice the whitish faded areas in my photos. Second, it's a bit rough. In my set, one of the pillowcases is softer and smoother than the duvet and the other pillowcase. It's really weird - same pattern and colors, but it's clearly a different fabric. It is not as faded as the quilt and other pillowcases. The other two aren't very scratchy or anything, but they're definitely a bit stiff and not very soft. I have to wonder if the people who liked it got it all in a different fabric. Overall, while very nice, I cannot recommend it at full price. If you can get it at a substantial discount, that might be good. But it won't be long before it gets dirty. For me it was after the very first cold wash.
