part was defective.

DO NOT buy these cheap fuel pumps. Work intermittently. They're either not pumping enough gas or they're leaking air into the lines, causing engine damage that's difficult to repair. You don't have to buy the $120 version but I've gone through 4 different fuel pumps for $25 or less because I was cheap and they all failed.
