Okay, I'm not going to lie. There was little "time" to figure out how to put on this piece without instructions. I'm a CPA, not an interior designer, but after an epic 20 minute struggle and some very serious thinking about just throwing in the towel and buying two new chairs, I've forced this thing to bend to my will and it's looking great ! I have two identical customer chairs that were still in great structural and mechanical condition and of course the "leatherette" started peeling like 99% of people who are likely to buy these covers and it became very uncomfortable. buy two new chairs or try this thing. And as I said, the "excitement" during the installation process was too much for my taste, but it worked. It's a pretty decent, snug fit, and while it's not the most amazing thing I've seen, it's certainly a massive improvement over the peeling disaster it covered up. If I live without these things for a few years, I will be very happy. The material doesn't seem overly strong, it seems prone to ripping and tearing, but we'll see. If you're on a budget and don't want to shell out another $100-$150 for a chair, you might want to give them a whirl, but keep some hard drinks handy to chill! Update: Based on the first purchase I bought a second one and this time I was able to install it much quicker. They look really good which is why I've increased my rating to 5 stars. The only problem is that the material is very thin so I don't know how long they will last, but this is a well thought out product in terms of 'elasticity' and design.
