Review on 🧶 Yarn Valet Yarn Dispenser: Convenient Green & White Solution by Kristen Simpson

To be honest I can't understand all the bad reviews. People who give it a star just say "you don't like it" without explaining why? I love this little gadget for several reasons. If I use a small ball of yarn or even a larger cake, the dispenser stays in place with no problem. I even used a large strand on it and it works great. As for the squeak, some reviewers have an issue; I haven't had this problem, but then again, I don't unwind yarn at the speed of light. It's compact enough to take with you and put in your yarn bag. I haven't had any issues with notches in the base, not sure why they are there, but if the company changed the design of the product the base could be slightly solid and it probably wouldn't affect its function. I love its little features like non-slip feet, embossed ruler and stitch marker holder. All in all, it's a simple little product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Work.UPDATE: I've used this with Red Heart Jumbo Yarn and Caron One Pound Yarns, Caron Cakes, etc. It still works great! Oh, by the way, the green stripe is where I put a strip of Frog Tape on the spindle to cover the slots in the bottom of the spinner.
