Tripp Lite is a good reliable product
You wouldn't believe there is a huge difference in something as everyday as a power cord, but after 15 years I can tell you there is a difference. Tripp Lite is a good solid product and I've never seen a power cord go bad with them. It may seem strange that the power cord can even fail, but it happens. The pins can break, the wires inside can break or melt due to their solder joints, or simply stop working due to excessive oxidation. The weirdest thing imaginable until it actually happens to you.
