I installed an inverter in a hard-to-reach spot on my truck. Due to the thickness of the plug, I can hardly insert it into the inverter socket. If the male part were shorter, there would be no problems. Otherwise I have no problems with this device.

They're so simple you'd think they'd work. Well they are, as long as you don't move the wires and hit them. If you hit or shake them they will short out and make a very loud bang through anything they feed. Garbage. Save your gear and ears and buy something else.

I am using this connector to make a bend from an overhead projector's power inlet to a ceiling outlet. The cable length - for my application - was perfect. Actual length is 12 inches from face of outlet to face of plug (excluding pins) - 12 inches is NOT the length of cord between faces of plugs.

My doctors recently prescribed me a portable OXYGEN concentrator which I now have to take with me when I'm not at home or visiting friends. Of course, the device came with a regular 6ft cord, which of course was inconvenient to coil and uncoil during use. So this new short cable was available as I used a lot of these when I worked in computer installation for many years but of course I kept one so I had to buy it.

You wouldn't believe there is a huge difference in something as everyday as a power cord, but after 15 years I can tell you there is a difference. Tripp Lite is a good solid product and I've never seen a power cord go bad with them. It may seem strange that the power cord can even fail, but it happens.
