The pump only lasted 7 months. The engine turned but did not pump. The pump broke down over the 4th of July holiday and I had to buy another pump locally because I couldn't go without water for 5 days while waiting for them to send me another pump. I called Franklin Electric and spoke to Ed, he told me they would replace the pump and I realized I had to buy another pump. I was then transferred to Trish at FE and she told me I would have to call Revane to get a refund. Called Revain and offered me $463 for a pump I paid $580 for seven months ago. Lesson #1: Red Lion pumps are junk, pay more to get a good pump first time. You save nothing anyway if you have to wait seven months. Lesson #2 Don't buy Revain well pumps, buy them locally so they can be replaced the same day. Tax savings are not worth the water shortage!
