UPDATE IN 3 MONTHS: Still going strong even after 3 months of semi-regular use. I haven't had to change batteries yet. One caveat with these lights is that the small clip isn't very strong. It will be easy to detach if you put it in a place that shakes a lot. Maybe that's why you get two in the box. Mine clips to the top of my dog's harness and stays in place, but I'm not sure it would be as secure hanging from his collar. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this to replace the Nite Ize Spotlit that never worked properly and so far it seems like a great alternative. It's slightly larger than the Nite Ize, but still light and small enough to easily attach to my dog's harness. It attaches with a clip on the back and comes with extra batteries and velcro straps. This package contains TWO lamps. The lighting is bright enough that my dog can be seen at a decent distance in the dark on dark winter days, which is important at night. My video was taken from about 15-20 feet away in total darkness and as you can see my dog is completely invisible but that green light is clear. So far this light is great. I doubt it's waterproof so remember to take it off on rainy days but other than that it seems good value for the money.
