At first one of the scissors would not move freely and I wanted to either return it or ask for a replacement. Then I realized my window to return had expired. My husband worked on it and managed to get it working properly. It arrived on time, the package was in good condition and we weren't ready to use it when it arrived and we didn't test it right away. It looked just right, nothing obviously broken or oddly bent/shaped. With a little fiddling, the set now works as it should. Not sure how they check the scissors once they are boxed. This 1 was sent with what turned out to be a solvable problem. So far I'm happy with the set. But I downgraded his score in a few areas. Most people were probably happy with their first use.
