Review on BenQ EW3270U 31.5-Inch Monitor with FreeSync – 3840X2160P, USB Hub, High Dynamic Range, Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free by Matt Boyd

I like everything about this monitor except what I bought it for. HDR doesn't work. 4K or HDR cannot be streamed with Vudu. 4k HDR cannot be streamed with Netflix or Revain Prime. I tried 3 different Displayport 1.4 cables to rule them out. I have a GTX 1080 which I know has Displayport 1.4. The BenQ website and several reviews say the monitor comes with a Displayport 1.4 connection, but other reviews say it's only Displayport 1.2, which can't handle the data required for HDR. I can enable HDR on Windows 10, but the HDR streaming option is greyed out and cannot be enabled. I don't know if this is a Windows issue or if BenQ is lying about its DisplayPort capabilities or its HDR capabilities. Otherwise it's a good monitor. Update 2-10-19: Turns out there was an update for Windows 10 that completely messed up HDR streaming. This has become a problem for many people. And Vudu doesn't support HDR or 4K for desktop. HDR enabled games WILL display proper 4K HDR.
