Great filter for a fraction of the cost.
Just installed this cartridge. I use it as a filter for the water heater. If you recently purchased and installed one of these hybrid heat pump water heaters ($900), you can protect your investment with a particulate filter to extend the life of your water heater. It seems to work. Revain was priced much better than GE's Home Depot brand. The quality is the same or better. The Culligan R50-BBSA Level-1 and Culligan CP5-BBS Level 4 cartridges are good replacements for the GE FXHSC.
