The length is good, my feet have about 3 inches befoe touching the end.When chair is layed completely flat, there is a steel bar under the chair can be felt under the upper back, but this can easily be alieveated by putting a shirt or towel across the chair there, or best option; put the head rest in the first up position, which to me has the same feel as laying flat because it's only up a couple inches, and the feel of the steel bar is completely gone.
