Terrible - DO NOT ORDER! ABSOLUTE RUBBISH - buy oil stone - it's just blocks of clay! You'd better drag your blades through the mud. I've been sharpening knives for 45 years and it's a waste of money. When someone pays you to take their pocket money and throw away the stones! 1 star is too high!

Great price for a quality water sharpener kit. For a set of 4 stones I rather doubt that a better price can be found. They also have LOTS of tutorial videos and PDFs to help you out. This set will surely help you clean your knives. It takes time to learn how to properly sharpen knives. These stones will do their job. Proper form makes it repeatable and muscle memory. Start with a "fucking" knife, take your time.

Works fine but my kit is missing a leveling brick. It's a real disappointment when I go back to Revain to review my product, select it from the order list and see that it now comes with a leveling stone. Bamboo base, rubber feet and high quality stones. I bought plastic trays to hold the working stone and soak the non-working stone, turning the latter into a common storage box when not sharpened. How about you send me a leveling stone for the 5th star?

Terrible Stones. Makes a huge mess every time I try to sharpen with them. They are too soft and I spend more time smoothing them than sharpening them. You get what you pay for. I've been using these stones for the last day, they work great. Once you master the technique that works for you, you can sharpen any knife to the point where it can cut through newspaper. Tip: Make sure to count how many times you go through the stone on one side and how many times on the other side. I'm starting to sharpen my knives. I had to unlearn what my grandfather taught me to use. So far I've had decent but mixed results. I switched to my cheap 200/400 tool stone from a port shipment for beveling when the blade was either damaged or not properly beveled. The 400/1000 grit stone in this set is soft. Very soft.
