Review on All Clad Textiles Silicone Resistant Protection by Brent Saake

We have a couple of All Clad pans. The big one with the uncomfortable U-shaped metal handle and front loop and the smaller one with the more comfortable metal handle. I was hoping that the All-Clad brand potholders would work really well with All-Clad pots and pans and that they would be comfortable to use, but this is not the case with them. They appear to be designed for a different grip style. This handle sleeve fits both types of pot handles very loosely, creating a very spongy and unreliable feel. Just what you don't need when you're holding a pot full of overheated schnitzels. You really have to squeeze it, but the internal cavity is so large that it only moves along the handle. So it's a failure. The folded "cloth" part is ok, but feels awkward compared to a cloth potholder or glove, so it's just not something I would reach for of my choice. So this is also a failure.
