Very glad I found these specifically for underground housing and not some of the more expensive high voltage equipment. That being said, the type of glitch you're fixing can make installation quite difficult. This is because there needs to be some slack in the pipe, 3 inches at each end of the gap, to allow the wire nut to be attached and inserted into the pipe. Because the fence is buried, getting that slack can be difficult. Luckily my rig was about to tack so I was able to dig a line and change the tack radius to get the slack I needed. B. a straight line. So the product works fine as long as you can install it, but different design e.g. a butt joint would be much more practical.
