Device offers limited performance Power Factor Correction. However, non-industrial consumers such as households are billed according to the kWh consumed (this is active power). On the other hand, billing for commercial consumers is based not only on the kWh consumed, but also on the power factor (fictitious power output in VA). Therefore, reactive power compensation only makes sense for industrial consumers. Private customers do not save money with this or other Power Factor Corrector (PFC).
