Not as profitable as claimed

The device offers limited power factor correction. However, non-industrial consumers such as households are billed according to the kWh consumed (this is active power). On the other hand, billing for industrial consumers is based not only on the kWh consumed, but also on the power factor (fictitious power output in VA). A reactive power compensation is therefore only useful for industrial consumers. Private customers do not save money with this or other Power Factor Corrector (PFC).

Pros
  • . The electronic savings box provides stable voltage and balancing current, achieves energy saving effect and improves the efficiency of electrical appliances, prevents unacceptable waste of electricity.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I'm shocked I'm actually saving $100 a month!

Unbelievable! I just received a PG&E bill for $38! Usually it's at least $100. The only downside is that you have to find outlets that won't interfere with some of your smaller appliances or will burn out your larger appliances (dishwashers). So I shuffled around a bit to make sure the units weren't affecting my devices. My bills for the past few months have also been about $100 less than usual. So far I've saved about $300 in three months!

Pros
  • Ideal for heavy duty or monthly consumption within 28KW, and can effectively prevent electrical equipment from overheating and extend the life of electrical equipment.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

That helps in many situations.

Simply plug into a socket. This can reduce your electric bill depending on how dirty the AC power source is. This may have been a factor in my rather low electricity bill for September. I will inform you in the future if anything changes.

Pros
  • Can be used at home, shop, restaurant, office, small factory, etc. Suitable for air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, electric fans, televisions, pumps, stereos, etc.
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Something like eBay's Fuel Saver!

I really wanted to believe it lol. Not. I just received my account since I connected it in December. I used more electricity. It does NOT work. Nothing has changed in my house and according to AEP I use 57% more electricity than the 100 houses around me. I have many computers. So if it works, I would already know. Just another gimmick like eBay's fuel economy stuff, that's all. Garbage.

Pros
  • Easy to use, just plug the energy saver into an outlet and the indicator will turn green, then the device will start working and keep the device plugged in.
