These are amazing towels. I use 4 a day and hand wash them along with the dishes at the end of the day. Once a week they go into the washing machine along with other rags. I like that they remove grease and dirt easily, although they leave stains. Bacteria or other organic contaminants don't bother me like cotton towels do. They don't have that musty smell that my other kitchen towels have. Eventually they get dirty enough to be used in the bathroom, I don't mess up the rooms. There is still a need for disposable towels and litter box toiletries, but I use a lot less disposables now!
