Slightly disappointing

I've heard a lot of good things about these pens but was very disappointed because they don't feel very "inky" and almost feel old or dried out. The colors are not very bright, just blah. As I write with them, they become lighter and my movements more jerky because they don't flow as well as the others. Now I will use Pentel Brush Pens. Too bad I feel like I wasted $26.
