Review on ☕ Black Stainless Steel Tea Kettle with Anti Heat Wood Grain Handle, Stainless Steel Cover and Wood Grain Nylon Cover Top Tea Pot, 3.2L by Jeff Young

A small design flaw. Otherwise it's a great kettle.

Today I am reviewing this stainless steel kettle with heat resistant handle in green. My first impression was that this is a really good kettle. The grip feels good, the lid fits well but detaches without much effort, and I can't find anything wrong with the green finish. She filled it to keep it from whistling, but after filling it a second time, it whistled perfectly. The handle feels nice, is comfortable and is just the right distance apart so you don't burn your hand with the steam when pouring. (my fiancé's problem with previous teapots). To mention the flaw in the review title, the spout is mechanical when you lift the handle and the spout opens for you to pour the tea. Well this mechanism has a small rod and spring to help keep the whistle cap on the spout. This spring, that rod failed. As a DIYer, I was able to get the spring and stem back with a butter knife and apply some super glue and hot glue to hold the stem in place. After this fix, the kettle works great. In general I recommend. It's a pretty showpiece and works well if you take preventive measures to keep the shaft and spring from loosening. Maybe my case was just one of those special cases, but I hope this helps anyone who takes the time to read this.
