Just bought a used 2001 Malibu with a 350 Indmar (0-80psi) and will be having it repaired. The old pressure gauge showed dangerously low pressure (but no engine alarm), so I checked it with a pressure gauge that read 45psi. I went to the local port to get a replacement and installed a Sierra pressure gauge which then read an unusually high pressure (80psi) even after it warmed up. Marine Bakes was ordered for the sensor so I gave that one a try. Much better results - listed in the 55psi range which is still a bit high but I have a lot more confidence in the readings. I will order a replacement part for the parts shelf.
