Review on 🦅 Sram NX Eagle 12-Speed Cassette: Unleashing Superior Performance by Yiorgos Reynolds

This is the second SRAM rear cassette I have installed on my e-bike. On my first NX Eagle chain and cassette combo, I ran the chain for too long (2500 miles) and overtightened it, accidentally wearing out the rear cassette. Dear mistake! At first I just tried changing my chain to fix a minor bug, but without changing the rear cassette the problem only got 100x worse. I rode for 2 days without letting my bike go into my slipper gears and immediately ordered this replacement. After it was replaced with the chain, my e-bike ran like new again. The moral of the story is that this is a great product that works well on an e-bike. However, I highly recommend getting a Park Tool CC-2 to keep a close eye on chain stretch and changing the chain to 0.5 so you don't also wear out the rear cassette and other drivetrain components. Due to the high loads on the drive train from the e-bike motor via the chain, it is recommended to change the chain every 1,000 km.
