I don't understand but these rags stink so bad. I've never had the problem that many Di's have because I always wring and hang dry and change washcloths daily. I even hang them on the edge of a plastic basket instead of tossing them in a pile of clothes/towels etc. The only way I could get the smell out was to cook it on the stove, thinking it was something they came in contact with. But it happened again the next time I used them. So they end up in the trash (not even in the ragbag).
