Review on 🔪 Virginia Boys Kitchens - 3-Piece Chef Knife Set - Handcrafted in the USA - German 420 High Carbon Stainless Steel - Chef, Utility, Paring Knives by Samantha Adams

Blade Heavy and unbalanced

I was looking for knives from USA as a gift. I'm a big fan of Wüsthofs (made in Germany) and was hoping they would be comparable. I have used Rada knives in the past and they are quite sharp but I didn't want a Rada as they are unbalanced and awkward to use. The blade quality on these Virginia Boys knives seems pretty solid and I'm sure they cut great (although I haven't used them). All three blades are so heavy that they were terribly uncomfortable to hold, like they were about to fall out of your hand. Absolutely no balance. Virginia Boys just don't offer good value for money. For a fair price you get a really good Wüsthofs knife set that is much better balanced and cuts really well. I ended up sending these back.
