After using the standard $20 off-the-shelf burnout kit for several months, I felt that I had reached the peak of my ability and was limited by the equipment at hand be. After reading many other reviews here I decided to take the plunge and go for the Tekchic kit. I'm no longer afraid of how long projects will take and I'm not trying to give up ideas because of what I have. There are many attachments included in the kit and I spent some time with spare wood to figure out which one would suit me best. Now I swap and use two main tips depending on the project and I like being able to outline with one and then immediately switch to the second cutter and fill or shade. I've saved a lot of time by not waiting for your burner to cool down before replacing it. I love that it comes with its own case to store everything in between burns or if I ever need to transport it. My wife loves it because I'm less likely to leave everything around in her creative realm! My only concern is paying attention to how your burner sits in the plastic mount. Once when I put it in the holder the handle turned because of the cord and the tip melted some of the plastic. I had to spend some time cleaning up the tip of the melted plastic. Otherwise an absolute top product!
