Review on Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 OC 2G Graphics Card (GV-N1030OC-2GI) by Nvidia by Mateusz Gniazdowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

It is very similar to its "sister" Gigabyte GeForce gt 730 1gb gddr5 oc. Actually a copy. Outwardly, the differences are in terms of the lack of VGA and a slightly different coloring, if you unwind, then naturally the chip marking is different. The cooling system has not undergone the slightest change, as there was a thin plate of aluminum, so it remained as a radiator. The fan, buzzing at 75 above speed, also remained in its place. A significant plus was 2 GB of video memory versus 1 GB for the same type of gt 730 from Gigabyte. If the previous card (gt 730) kept the maximum frequency of 1163 mhz on the chip, then here the base frequencies are already immediately higher, as a result, and overclocking (potential). I haven’t really driven it yet, so I can’t write exact results for my copy. In my personal opinion, this card is one of the best budget gt 1030 models, as it combines decent cooling, high operating frequencies and a reasonable price tag. The OC Guru program makes it possible, as on the previous model, to play with the voltage.

Pros
  • - Attractive appearance - Decent performance -Good overclocking potential Gigabyte style -More or less quiet
Cons
  • -My copy at 75 turns and above emits an unpleasant buzzing -It seems to be single-slot, but in fact it occupies 2 slots (more precisely, one and a half, but nothing can be put in the second slot)
