Review on 🔧 Enhanced Lincoln Lubrication Slotted Coupler 5883 by Michael Altayeb

This rectangular grease adapter worked great! I have an inaccessible grease fitting on the rear driveshaft of my 2003 Toyota Tacoma that appears to be the result of a possible retrofit of a replacement U-joint by a previous owner. The fitting points away from the gap and almost directly into the driveshaft arms, making it impossible to hit directly with a traditional direct pressure lube adapter or even a needle fitting. I just got my truck and have no idea when this hinge was last greased, if ever. I ordered this Lincoln Grease Rectangular Slotted Adapter before I knew a family member already had a similar generic branded version of this product from a manufacturer under their own Advance Auto brand name. One of the Advances didn't work because the gap on the tool wasn't high enough to fit the truck's grease fitting and it just kept digging into the plastic insert no matter what angle I tried. Needless to say, I had almost no hope that it would work when Lincoln showed up since it appears to be the same tool. I was thrilled when I went outside and tried just sticking the bare tip into the grease fitting and found it was seated correctly. I then connected my friend to the faucet and was able to pump tons of grease into that faucet. It didn't leak a bit around the mirror nipple where it connects to the coupler. Very, very satisfied! This tool has saved me tons of time, effort, and stress. Once again Lincoln proves that they are the best when it comes to grease guns and adapters.
