This is a very thin tarpaulin. Originally we wanted to cover the tent with a tarpaulin. There is nothing to compare, we figured 7 million would be enough. Not really. It's as thin as a plastic bag from a department store. It doesn't offer a great barrier against rocks and pebbles under the tent, but it does provide good sun or rain protection, especially with reinforced corners.
