A bit thin: Tarpaulin

Although I found them thinner than expected, they didn't tear under my conditions of use. I wanted brown and they are beautiful because they are green on one side and brown on the other. I bought many sizes, good to have on hand.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some little things

Covers my chicken coop is good for furnishing

The product is new and fully corresponds to the description. I bought it about 3 years ago to cover my chicken coop. This one is a foot longer and wider and appears to be a bit thinner, but works very well for its intended purpose.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

The sun rotted and broke through in 9 days

We have winter in the West, and this covered my firewood. In 9 days it started to rot in 4 spots (similar to UV sunrot) and completely reamed the 2" holes. The packaging says 7 mils thick, but the measurements are closer to 3 mils.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old
Cons
  • other other

Don't buy this to cover wood

Didn't realize it would leak so much. I bought it to cover a stack of firewood that I haven't stacked yet and the top layer of wood was soaking wet, then I was told the tarp needed to "breathe" and wouldn't hold all the moisture, but it says " Dry Top" and the word "weatherproof" is used several times, which I think is misleading.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Crumpled

Paper is thin and fragile

I bought the 15x10 and this 8x10 both dry top and the size wasn't the only difference. 10x15 is a good heavy tarp, but this 8x10 is much thinner and not as strong. I don't expect it to last long as I had to be very careful not to snag it when closing my firewood for fear it would puncture. If you want a good heavy duty tarp get a 15x10, you'll be much happier.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No insurance

Can be used as a canopy or rain cover

This is a very thin tarpaulin. Originally we wanted to cover the tent with a tarpaulin. There is nothing to compare, we figured 7 million would be enough. Not really. It's as thin as a plastic bag from a department store. It doesn't offer a great barrier against rocks and pebbles under the tent, but it does provide good sun or rain protection, especially with reinforced corners.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • For pensioners

Works well but not very waterproof

I have an old shabby outdoor pool table; I used Home Depot black construction plastic and a waterproof tarp to cover it in the winter and it worked great. The black plastic is ugly and will tear in high winds, and canvas loses waterproofing over time, plus it's expensive. I bought this tarp to replace my previous two solutions but found it didn't hold water very well. It's much easier to install than black plastic because it has rings on the corners, but moisture gets in pretty quickly. Back to

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No

Lightweight and tear resistant.

Surprisingly light (for size 10' x 8'). a big leaf. But it seems well sealed, I just don't like the joint. I'll keep it because of the quality. Two colors are not different leaves! The color difference seems to have been achieved by using a different color of the protective layer (polyethylene?). Best of all, it's made out of some sort of ripstop material. The cut piece is attached to the packaging plastic. I tried to break the piece and I couldn't. It's beautiful and compelling. WEIGHT (10 ft…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Easily crumpled
