Of all the recipes I've tried, the one that came with this product woke up the best. Then I made my own recipe after experimenting to share. Works perfectly! Very satisfied! My recipe makes 2 large and 1 medium bath bomb with very little waste. 240ml baking soda 120ml cornstarch 120ml citric acid 120ml Epsom salt 40 drops of NOW essential oil (I use the naturally sweet and uplifting Buttercup oil. Or you can use 20 drops of the calming Lavender Aura Cazien essential oil). to use cheaper oil.) You don't even have to mix oil anymore to ensure that the texture of the product is like that of wet sand. I knew my mixture was right when I mixed it with a spoon, poured it onto the spoon and held the spoon upside down to see if any mixture would fall off the spoon. When nothing falls off the spoon and you have the consistency of what is and you're ready to put it in a mold. First mix all your dry ingredients together. And in a second container, mix all the ingredients together. Now you can add food coloring to the wet ingredients, or do what I do: separate the mixtures and two different bowls and add the food coloring after everything is the consistency of wet sand. If you do it this way, the food coloring won't make it as light. Mixing the food coloring with all the liquid ingredients will help the food coloring spread more evenly. Be careful not to use too much food coloring as it can stain your tub. Prefer less food coloring. Also, make sure you tell the people you give these bath bombs to that oils can make the bath slippery, so be sure to clean the tub after each use so it doesn't get slippery for the next guest. If you use the recipe provided in this form you will find that it makes one large bath bomb and not enough to make another bath bomb. It's best to double your recipe so you can at least get bath bombs from your mix, whether it's 1 large and 1 medium or several small ones. After you've mixed the ingredients and placed them in the mold, let them sit for at least 10 minutes before attempting to pop them out of the mold to make your next bath bomb. Allow the bath bomb to dry overnight before using, or wrap in cling film or Ziploc bags for storage. I hope this guide will be useful to people. I've spent many hours on YouTube and the web searching and experimenting for the perfect recipe and believe me, if you put all the money and effort into it, it sucks if it doesn't work. I've also tried packaging some of my products in a tennis ball that was cut in half to fit, but that didn't work. These are the best molds for making bath molds as you need to pack the ingredients tightly. Using a tennis ball or plastic Christmas ornaments is not reusable. I highly recommend this product.
