I bought these shoes for my son after waiting for several months. He wore them for a while and when I took them off I thought he had marks from the holes in his boots. The following say they looked like this. He doesn't have particularly sensitive skin, but they definitely reacted to the material. I tried again and the arches were completely rubbed. I ordered a size 9 and 10, 10 was too big and ordered 9 from Amazon. I am so disappointed.
