I got this sleeping mat for my twins, for our camping trip, but it was my oldest who ended up sleeping outside in the backyard and giving this sleeping mat it's first test. He found it to be comfortable just laying on the bare ground. The twins did get to use it during our camping trip and they were just as pleased, and it's not easy to do with those little princesses :) The mat is very thin and light, and I was really questioning how comfortable can it be. I was pleasantly surprised that due to it's unique design, it actually provides very decent support and is quite soft and comfortable. It might not be as soft as bigger inflatable beds, but it's also about third of the size and weight. It is very light and compact and easy to store away in the carry bag that comes with it. The mat comes with built in foot press pump which works very well. Due to the sleeping mat thickness, it does not take much to get it completely inflated. There's also a valve for using a standard air pump, that you'd normally use for your inflatables. This one is almost a must have for any camping trip. Especially if you're trying to pack light and small and still have some basic comforts. I dont feel that it's wide enough for 2 people to sleep comfortably without snuggling, but it's definitely great for kids/teens.
