I have used top thread needles and wanted to try side thread needles as I don't like the 'sharp' needle sensitivity. Needles for threading the upper thread. That's why I ordered them, as you can clearly see in the photos that they are threaded from the side. What I received were upper thread needles, the same ones I've used before. I was disappointed that I couldn't try the side threads and they were a lot more expensive than the top threads I already had. So it was a waste for me.
