I was very impressed by you. I first saw her on Joanna Basford's YouTube channel, like most adult colorists. I find it very enjoyable to paint with. They appear to be drier than wax crayons. They blend well and layer well too, at least to a point. They won't chip when flipped like modern Crayola crayons. It's nice not to have to clean excess crayon wax from the pages like I did in the 80's and 90's (and will if I ever use Crayola crayons again). I was a bit disappointed that the crayon sharpener that comes with Crayola's Ultimate Crayon Collection didn't work on them. These crayons are tiny and I have rather small hands. A standard pen extender works well with them. When used carefully, Gamsol can help smooth out pigments in coloring books. They are expensive but I really enjoyed painting with them. If Bambino came out with an adult set I would consider buying these if they were reasonably priced. I've never tried artist pencils because I can't afford them. Therefore I cannot compare them with Caran D'ache Neocolor or similar products. I look forward to using this set more often.
