Didn't work right away. Switched on and water flows everywhere. I also bought a slightly more expensive other model (Plumb Craft 7032000N backflow preventer) and it worked great. Upon closer inspection I noticed that this model has a deformed rubber seal which you can see in the attached image. I was able to remove the rubber washer and white plastic piece and noticed that the smaller rubber spacer was not fully seated. I reassembled it correctly and it should work now, but I didn't take the time to undo my working one to try it out. . If you have one of these devices and are having a leakage problem, you can take it apart and reassemble it to see if that fixes the problem.
