Didn't work right away. Switched on and water flows everywhere. I also bought a slightly more expensive other model (Plumb Craft 7032000N backflow preventer) and it worked great. Upon closer inspection I noticed that this model has a deformed rubber seal which you can see in the attached image. I used to buy other devices to prevent backflow. This is the first thing I've had that has water released. I didn't feel like my (rollback) hose was drying out and splashing water everywhere.
