This torch is very handy for soldering small copper tubes (up to 1/2 inch) when using Mapp Gas. I haven't tried propane, but it might work. I highly recommend this flashlight if you are looking for an economical way to solder without having to install multiple gases, oxygen and fuel. REVISION 7/27/21: Just wanted to update my review.
