This is a high quality old school unit. It might not support your latest plug and play webcam needs, but then it will. My guess is that this camera was once expensive in its heyday. Great looking camera with manually operated optics like a DSLR. I've used mine successfully for DIY fun with MS C# on a Win8 OS (other OS's you use yourself). My biggest downside is that the unit is hardwired to a 1/4 meter old wiring harness. Line connector UBS. Like I said, this is old school, do it yourself as needed.
