The application works every time, there are no false notifications yet, and there is no delay in opening either. The sensor cable is long enough to place the sensor on the side of my double garage door instead of on top (reduces false opening/closing due to high winds). If you open the package and the meager instructions fall out, don't worry, install the app on your phone, select your garage door opener and the app will display a beautiful guide. If you are wondering if this will work with your opener, a nice book is included with a list of all compatible/incompatible door openers. If you look at the garage door opener and see two wires, there's a good chance it's working. Now remove these two wires from the button and connect them together. Does the device start to work?
