Review on 🚿 Chrome Self-Closing Shower Valve by EZ-FLO 10789 by Kyle Omaha

This works for what we need (auto shut off for outdoor showers). Liked: Good, solid construction. Disliked: the chain that comes with the kit. We had one like this before and it was filled with concrete during construction so we replaced it with the same model. Some issues we had were: It was used outdoors and needed lubricating after a while: It gets stuck in the on position (actually a plus so the chain doesn't have to be held the whole time and then pushed back with a stick have to fix it (lubricate) because we liked it "broken". Also, the chain broke fairly quickly and the ring didn't last much longer. The hole on the "handle" that the ring went through was quite small and didn't match a few things I tried replacing it with, I ended up replacing it with a wire type keyring like this: https://www.amazon.com/MantaRings-Cable-Strong-Flexible-Waterproof/dp /B00B1GP94E, but cheaper gives you perspective) and a stainless steel chain from the hardware store, and we attached it to the new valve when it arrived. Works like new (because it is).
