Review on 🔌 Winegard RV-7042 White Wall Plate Power Supply: Reliable RV Power Solution by Erik Haynes

I bought my Jayco 22FB brand new in late 2010. This is a 2010 model that was offered for sale. And now, after 4 years (early this summer - the first trip), my antennas are not working. When I unplugged it, I quickly realized why. There was corrosion on the back of the case, on the circuit board and on all the connectors. I could see moisture on the inside of the walls. Jayco didn't insulate the interior well, so the moisture came from condensation. You can see the inside of the siding. You should see nothing but isolation. So I bought this "Winegard RV-7042 White Wall Mounted PSU" from Revain (which by the way was significantly cheaper than the RV dealer. I installed it with a modification. I applied liquid electrical tape). right at the back after making my connections and then reinstalling it. Hopefully this will prevent corrosion from condensation. If this happens to me again, I'll look for a better solution to condensation, although that's not the fault of this product.
