The informant doesn't work, so it's not worth buying.
Although the color and size met my expectations, the informant disappointed me. One of the reasons I ordered this kettle was hoping to hear a whistle. We live in a house with and upstairs/downstairs so sometimes after placing the kettle on the stove there can be distractions and without being able to hear the whistle sometimes most of the water has run out and more needs to be added.
