Review on CEC Industries #7382 Bulbs - Efficient 14V G4 Base T-1.75 Shape (Box of 10) by Vanessa Jones
NOT for 2002 Tahoe HVAC headlights. Good lamps, just not for me.
I bought these bulbs to use for the HVAC controls on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. These are NOT the lamps for it! Remember that the bulbs must be 6 volts for this, not 14 (or 12) volts. I can't give them a low rating because the bulbs themselves are fine, but they didn't work for me just because of my weird setup. I have no idea why GM decided to use 6 volt bulbs in a 12 volt car, but here it is. In any case, the size is right, but the voltage is too high and they are so dark that they cannot be seen behind the control panel. I'm sure they will be great for other projects so good luck!
