CEC Industries #7382 Bulbs - Efficient 14V G4 Base T-1.75 Shape (Box of 10) Review

These lamps worked fantastically well. Used them to replace bulbs on a Yamaha CR-2020. They fit perfectly into Yamaha sockets and switch from 12v to 14v so should last a long time.

My Rogers organ has a couple of small bulbs marked JKL FB33. They illuminate pedals, music and keys. Some of them burned down. The replacement is neither convenient nor cheap. It was the perfect replacement for her. Very good.

Good replacement for #7382 lightbulbs in my audio device. Note that these bulbs are often soldered in place and that the pins on these versions of the bulbs are a bit tricky to solder. It took a slightly higher soldering iron temperature than I normally use.

I bought these bulbs to use for the HVAC controls on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. These are NOT the lamps for it! Remember that the bulbs must be 6 volts for this, not 14 (or 12) volts. I can't give them a low rating because the bulbs themselves are fine, but they didn't work for me just because of my weird setup. I have no idea why GM decided to use 6 volt bulbs in a 12 volt car, but here it is. In any case, the size is right, but the voltage is too high and they are so dark that they cannot be seen…
