Bamboo gradually loses wood, but not this one. This also cleans the grill pan a little faster. However, a spatula with a long handle makes cleaning a lot easier. At your discretion. If you're cleaning while cooking, a longer handle is required for convenience, if you're cleaning in a sink, that may be fine.
