Great for stamping and watercolor painting

This is my favorite watercolor paper for stamping and coloring. I used watercolor paints, water based markers, watercolor markers and colored pencils. I layered colors to get deeper, richer colors and the paper held up. The water soaks into the paper instead of just sitting on it, and the ink migrates well into wet areas. I like a hot embossing press as it is much smoother than a cold one. This way you get clear stamp images. Oh, it's important to use stamped archival inks as water-based inks easily smear and migrate with watercolors. My favorite ink for this is archival Rangers ink, it holds up well. I use clear stamps and Stazon ink and Stazon cleaner can damage clear stamps so this is a Rangers archive. Powder stamping really works with this paper too, you can get such a smooth stamp with it!
