This FRAM Extra Guard Air Filter, CA9997 is highly rated on blogs and vlogs and is cheaper here than it is in stores. Although our Subaru is under warranty I save money by installing it (along with the cabin air filter) as my dealer will deduct this from the required warranty service. And these two filters are installed without much effort. I had them change the oil and the oil filter! but that's a saving. (Plus, the filter is still fine when it's time to replace it for warranty service, so I just put the used filter in the garage and will use it again when the car is older and out of warranty. ... so this is more economical than someone taking out a still clean filter and throwing it in the trash.)
