Review on Baratza Sette 30 Precise Conical Burr Grinder by Melissa Stout

I've only used the coffee grinder for a few days, so I can't say anything about the durability, but I can say about the grinding quality. I use it to grind at home for my budget espresso machine (Gaggia Classic with PID installed). This, combined with well roasted beans, came close enough in quality to espresso from local coffee bars that I can't tell enough difference to merit a "need" to visit them for a good espresso. That doesn't mean that there (is) no difference, just that my tastes aren't refined enough at the moment to discern a noticeable difference that deserves to go out. The bases are permanent and can choke my car even at setting 9 (out of 31). At 11 with a 4 second grind time I get 20 grams which is almost perfect for my machine. I am very happy. Finally, the noise level is not as bad as I expected. Sure it's a little noisy, but not as bad as I thought. Great product from the start. Who knows in the long run.
