Good quality but defective.

The reason I gave 1 star and all other 5 stars was because of a very serious product defect. I noticed my computer didn't recognize it when I plugged it in. I thought maybe I didn't get the pens right. It got so hot it burned my index finger when I touched it. I then tried my drive on another adapter I have and it was destroyed. Samsung 980 isn't cheap and now it's junk. Maybe it was the one I bought with a defect. I don't know, but what I got wasn't a blessing, it was a painful nightmare.

Pros

Attention: PCI-E based B-Key and all M.2-SSDs with M-Key (e.g. NVME) are not supported. Please check whether your M.2 SSD is SATA channel or PCI-E channel on brand website before purchasing. If the hard disk has a password, please delete the hard disk password, otherwise other computers cannot recognize the hard disk.
